Comfortable and quaint amenities in a good location, could use some updates and overall transparency
- What did you like most?Great location within the hills of Austin. Really enjoyed the view from the room. The restaurant was very nice and the breakfast options were very tasty. The check in process was seamless and the front desk staff were friendly.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The rooms are clean and comfortably, but they are not quite as updated as the pictures appear online [some stains on the carpets]. There are a few tricky non-disclosures, such as the breakfast restaurant charging $5 for coffee but not letting you know that you could bring the free complementary coffee that is being served a few feet away into the restaurant instead. Also we were offered "free parking" as a complimentary add-on, only to find out that every guest has the option for free parking in the garage. When we brought this up with the front desk after our car had already been valet parked [which we thought was included], we were just told sorry and charged the after hours fee anyways. This could have been handled much better.
