The Astoria is a modern hotel located in a quiet side street, housed in a stylish building of the 1920s right in the heart of Prague's Old Town, a few steps from the Powder Tower and only 1312 feet from the Old Town Square. - Was there anything you didn't like?There was mold in the room and the bathroom did not have a cosmetic mirror. Before arrival, I received a message from the hotel offering a romantic package for €29. I only asked what was included in the package, but I never confirmed that I wanted to book it. Nevertheless, the hotel booked the package and everything was already prepared when we checked in. Since it was already in the room, I said it was okay and that they didn’t need to remove it. However, the package consisted of one cheap bottle of wine, a very small portion of chocolate, and one bottle of water – which felt quite overpriced for €29. Additionally, the front desk staff did not seem very welcoming or enthusiastic about their work.
